A little about me...

I grew up in South Wales, and moved to London in 2011. I am currently living in Berlin with my husband and three children.

I studied psychology in Swansea University, and moved to London to train with Teach First as a science teacher.

After having my first little girl, I decided that I wanted to embark on a more holistic career, and began a full time master course in occupational therapy.

Since qualifying I have worked as an independent therapist within mainstream schools, qualified as a Sensory Integration Therapist, and as a specialist occupational therapist in an NHS integrated community therapy team working across North London special schools.

I'm a mum of three and it is truly magical to watch them grow and develop at their own stages. Having three children each with four years between has enriched my understanding of the developmental stages, and given me the wonderful gift of hindsight to look back to my times as a first time parent to now.

I'm a very musical person, I play the piano, viola and sing most days. I enjoy bringing my love of music into interventions with children, and have often used song to support children's learning. Prior to having my second child I ran an inclusive choir for children with autism.

As a scientist I love exposing children to the world of science. Whether in the classroom or outside, I believe science and nature can enrich children's learning, and provide the foundation to therapeutic work.

I've been described by friends and colleagues as fun loving, personable and compassionate. For more information about what others have said about me, please go to testimonials
